Can’t have that, and what’s wrong with the vanilla look anyway if it means a better experience? Isn’t that why we instal mods? To me I just consider it more wood / metal color variety (did I mention I made parts of the game more colorful and varied?) You’ll notice there’s no SMIM in this load order, that’s because certain interiors with lots of objects to render (primarily barrels in meaderies) were dropping the fps below 60. But there’s still one or two just out of personal preference for the world I was trying to build. Example instead of immersive citizens, Ai Overhaul 1.64. I did my best to eliminate or reduce heavy scripts for this LO just because it’s supposed to be “Lite”.

The mod Enhanced NPC Draw Distance increases the range animals and characters appear around your character, which plays well with this more detailed world. Meaning that all sorts of objects will still appear from incredibly far away (and have PROPER LIGHTING ) Autumn Skies comes with a preset system but I’ve just been leaving it default. So now to get technical, nearly everything (excluding grass and certain bandit camps) are baked into the LOD.
With this you’ll really feel the weight of what all that entails. On it’s own Skyrim is a beautiful yet dangerous place, on top of that it’s currently at war. You can choose where and what you do, who to side with, and even take the path of non-violence if that is what you wish (even when hostiles are coming straight for you, they won’t always have just you to worry about depending on how you deal with it). Rather, in this LO, things are always happening everywhere, and you just happen to be stepping into the midst of it. I just like how Tamrielic Textures Landscapes and LOD look.ĭescription- No more will the world seem to revolve around you, the player, the mythical dragonborn.
3) Skyland Landscape 1k may be a sliiiightly better performance-wise for older consoles. I’m sorry, that’s Real Wildlife but it’s just so immersive otherwise (and doesn’t happen on new consoles). 2) On anything older then a One X you may experience an abrupt millisecond long pause when opening animal inventories.

But some notes on that subject 1) I haven’t tested it yet, but if this gets used on an Xbox One X / Series X you may want to add on the mod “Xbox One X - Shadows” (do it after you check first) depending on if the shadows around your character don’t look quite… right. Meaning this LO should work fine on Xbox Ones and Series Consoles alike. I mean I’ve strived to make Skyrim come to life both in experience and visuals (while still keeping it to almost exclusively 1k textures + Clevercharffs new 512). First off- this is a lightweight, dangerous, living world LO.
